Arcanadea TV Anime Reveals Teaser Visual

 The official X/Twitter account for Kotobukiya's Arcanadea bishōjo plastic model series revealed the first teaser visual on Friday for the television anime adaptation. The anime will air on TV Asahi and its affiliates.

The "sci-fi x fantasy" franchise takes place in the near future, where the world experienced rapid technological development thanks to a new energy called "Arcana Particles" that was discovered by Eden Industries. The new technology includes the largest virtual space server called Eden. The VRMMO "ARCANADEA" is a game people can play within the Eden server, and features a fantasy world. After an explosion occurred at Eden Industries one night during the maintenance of Eden, the world changed, including abnormal weather, communication issues, strange disappearances, and people gaining increased physical abilities.

The franchise has inspired not just plastic models but also various other merchandise and a series of ASMR CDs. The franchise's official website also publishes a four-panel manga.

The franchise has shipped more than 300,000 figures since its launch in December 2021.

Kaiju No. 8 Compilation Film to Play in N. American Theaters in April

  Screenings on April 13, 14, and 16 with English subtitles,  dub Crunchyroll  announced on Friday that it acquired the North American theatrical rights for the compilation  film  of the first  Kaiju No. 8  anime season under the title  Kaiju No. 8 : Mission Recon .  Sony Pictures Entertainment  will present the film "in an event-style release" in theaters in the United States and Canada on April 13, 14, and 16. The screenings will be available in both Japanese with English subtitles, and dubbed in English. The film will  open  in 32 theaters in Japan for three weeks only starting on March 28, and will include the new original episode "Hoshina's Day Off." The American band  OneRepublic  performs the ending theme song "Invincible (from  Kaiju No. 8 )" as the ending theme for the "Hoshina's Day Off" part of the film. KonoSuba – God's blessing on this wonderful world! 3 Anime Gets Sequel

  Kadokawa  announced on Friday that it is producing a sequel anime for  KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world! 3 . The announcement did not reveal the format of the anime. Screenings of the new  Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! 3 -Bonus Stage-   original video anime  ( OVA ) also ended with the announcement. The  Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! 3 -Bonus Stage-   OVA  consists of two unaired episodes that started a two-week theatrical screening run in Japan on Friday. The  OVA  will head to general retail stores on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on April 25. The  OVA  reunites the returning staff and cast.
